WANDER - MEANDER IV (R)-evolution in UKRAINE 2018

Together with the artists Sergey Bratkov and Nykolaj Karabinovych, Björn Geldhof, Artistic Director of the leading PinchukArtCenter in Kiev transformed the house as ‘the socle of art’.

On 24 November 2018 the 4th activation of the ‘silver anchor point’ planted in the patio of Julie and Michel's house by the artists Sarah &Charles took place. On 28 august 2016, during the first Wander Meander Performance, the two artists made an agreement with the inhabitants of the house to invite somebody to start the activation fort he next 20 years.

The artists Sergey, Nicolaj and Björn flooded the house with video, photography, drawings and sculptures with a high level of ‘rock and roll’. They showed instructive, fascinating and passionate real-life stories of the (R)Evolution in Ukraine since 1980 and the role of the artists in these big changes. All of this and the performance of Sergey created an unforgettable immersion of the friends present in the unknown world of Ukraine and its artists.
