The guestfiles are residencies in the house of Julie and Michel where artists, designers and architects reflect on the renovation, the context or the inhabitants.

Invited guests: Spanish artist Enrique Marty, Italien designer Andrea Branzi, Flemish theatre-makers Josse Depauw and Kristien De Proost, Flemish art photografer Dirk Braeckman, German architects Something Fantastic, Bel and Begian architects 51N4E. The guest becomes the temporary inhabitant of the house while Julie en Michel are absent.
The book Reasons for walling a House brings the story of this nine year cooperation with the architects 51N4E and the guests in the renovated house. This period ends with the publication of the book and the exhibition in the gallery of Valerie Traan Antwerp in 2011.

The publisher Ruby Press Berlin is awarded the Dam Architectural Book Award with the book Reasons for Walling a House at the Frankfurt book fair in 2012.
